MVC's Street Ballot

The photos show Make Votes Count campaigners running a street ballot in Camden Town, north London on Saturday. The public were asked to vote on the question "do you think your vote will make a difference in this election?". Camden Town is in the safe seat of Holborn and St Pancras, of the 282 people who took part in the poll, 230 answered 'No'. Campaigners were also out running ballots, or simply distributing leaflets and campaign wristbands in another 20 localities throughout England. It was actually quite a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, as there was a lot of interest in bringing about change to make votes count and it was good to meet up with other local supporters of the campaign.
