The shorter national comment consensus
Close elections are rubbish. Political parties do nothing but good and thus should be allowed to get on with things (without having to fuss around co-operating with each other) like those political deities Blair and Bush can. (The normal service of criticising big government will resume just as soon as Germany and Italy are no longer newsworthy).
