Sloshed statesmen

Make Votes Count failed to make much of an impression on the audience inside the schmoozy snake-pit of the Serpentine gallery last night, the location of the New Statesman's glitzy New Media Awards piss-up. Not that we were nominated. Or should have been. Hell, we weren't even properly invited.

Not that this should be seen as a blow, of course. The man who would be his avatar, the most popular blogger in Britain, didn't (bizarrely) win anything either. We're in esteemed company.
