« Turnout high as Londoners realise their votes matter | Main | Labour's targeting of swing voters backfires »

Does your vote and council matter?
Having just posted on high turnout in London, I'd love to comment on turnout figures elsewhere, but don't have those figures yet. Instead, it is worth noting this:
“The key thing is winning where it matters, not amassing tonnes of votes where it doesn’t” Nick Robinson – 0009 on BBC election night programme.
That from a journalist not a party strategist! So sorry if you don't live and vote in a council which contains a marginal parliamentary seat in it. Your vote is worth less. You get less money and resources poured by parties into campaigning in your area, and less attention from the media too.
