'Whose Votes Count' meeting report

Back in June we held a very successful break-out session at Compass Conference. ‘Whose Votes Count?’ Speakers were Chuka Umunna (PPC for Streatham), Yasmin Qureshi (PPC for Bolton South East), Robin Blackburn (academic) and Emily Georghiou (Equalities and Human Rights Commission). The chair was Jennette Arnold AM. Great speeches. Lots of pro-reform arguments from panellists and from the audience. 50+ in the audience, including Ed Miliband and Derek Draper.

You can read a summary of the speeches here (pdf).
