An Englishman's Obama journey
If you are interested in understanding more of what it felt like to be there in America for the election, to be on the ground doing campaigning as well as just observing what was going on, then look no further. Read the blog SixFifty, which follows Malcolm Clark's progress on the US election campaign trail. It is very much "a political safari". The aim of the site, as well as reporting what was happening, has been to look at lessons for the UK; especially in the conduct of elections, mobilising people, turnout and making votes count.
NB. www.sixfiftyblog.com, its contents are entirely unconnected with Make Votes Count.
