MVC Party Conference season programme

Labour Conference, Bournemouth

As well as the MVC fringe (see above), the Electoral Reform Society are also holding a fringe. Both are open to the public and we welcome local supporters and others interested in the issues to attend. 

ERS / LCER fringe and reception:

Date: Wednesday 26 September, 6.45pm – 8pm
Venue: Durley Dean Hotel, 28 Westcliff Road, Bournemouth
Title: Rethinking the Relationship: What do Voters want from their Representatives?
Speakers: Oona King, Jessica Crowe (Councillors Commission), Alan Whitehead MP, Roger Mortimore (Ipsos-Mori)

To be followed immediately afterwards (from 8pm) by an activists reception, hosted jointly with Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform. Wine and refreshments provided. All welcome.

MVC materials will also be available on the ERS stand in the main exhibition area. 

Conservative Conference, Blackpool

Conservative Action for Electoral Reform are holding a fringe on Tue 2 October, only open to Conference delegates / passholders.  See here for more details. ERS are hosting a reception which is open to local Conservatives and Conservative MVC supporters. Details below. RSVP to / 020 7928 1622.

Date: Tuesday 2 Ocrober, 7pm onwards
Venue: September’s Champagne bar, 17 Queen Street, Blackpool
Title: champagne reception
Speakers: Steve Richards and Andy Grice (The Independent)
Refreshments: champagne and canapes served.
